Combining postage with simple delivery

I sold a few things recently, but I accidentally listed one with simple delivery. The buyer bought 3 items and they all went in one pack. I bought the postage direct from Royal Mail, but I am unable to mark the one item on SD  as being dispatched, nor can I add tracking details. Any help?

Combining postage with simple delivery

Buying your own postage not using Simple Delivery,  you will now not be able to add new tracking details, any SD labels triggered,  will have marked those items as dispatched.

eBay suggest messaging the buyer with the new tracking , and should any case for item not received be opened,  then the tracking can be added into the case details.

Your payout will be delayed for a minimum of 14 days.

For the unused SD labels,  the refund goes back to whoever initially paid for the labels.

  • If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days

  • If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.  You will be refunded after 30 days here,  too.
