Verification ID not being accepted

Ebayer for 15 yrs but recently had account on hold for payout due to confirmation of ID.

Unfortunately my passport was just out of date, so only other option as they wanted government issue documents, was my driving license, which is UK old style, but still valid.

After multiple attempts, several call backs it's still saying update your account etc.

And they don't tell you what is wrong!

I eventually got an answer that my license was expired, it isnt.

I also got an agent to suggest I send bank account letter, all matched up perfectly.

Still get the red banner of doom.

I'm completely complying as best as possible,

I'm currently waiting on a call back from a very helpful guy who's on a mission to sort it.

In meantime my money is trapped in this ridiculous fiasco of proving my existence.

I'm open and grateful for any advice as I'm sure I'm not alone here.

Some people seem to have managed to use their birth certificate,  but only if their name is the same.

Yes a good call, but one of my issues id changed my name 25 yrs ago, I explained this to them and they understood, so sadly my BC is not valid with the rest of my docs.

UPDATE AND CRITICAL TIPS FOR VERIFICATION!

Right, this is paramount info, anyone having major issues with the crazy military style verification method and DO NOT HAVE PHOTO ID this is what you need to know...

Mentioned already on forums is, speak to a main agent preferably from Dublin, Monday early you have high chance of that.

What they needed is the 4 corners of any document clearly photographed, make sure your photo is no more than 4MB

IDEALLY set your phone cam to 12mp or standard setting.

Old paper valid driving license is acceptable, as is a bank statement within 3 months.

The validation form set up is flawed, it won't tell you if you've made an error, it'll just send another.

You need to speak to an agent to find out what is incorrect.

Annoying.

But you have to approach this with the precision of a bomb disposal expert, no room for error, frustrating and can be long winded, but keep calm and just persevere.
