SIMPLE DELIVERY SIZING

Yet another Simple Delivery query I'm afraid! When choosing which option to select, large letter or small parcel; it gives a sweater as an example of a large letter thickness - surely a sweater must be more than 2.5cm thick? Am I right to assume then, that something like a dress which might be more than 2.5cm thick, and previously I would have sent as a small parcel can now go as a large letter? and there will be no repercussions on the seller or buyer to recover the shortfall in postage? Sorry if this has been asked before - thank you for your help.

SIMPLE DELIVERY SIZING

Simple Delivery only approximates the weight, so it's supposed to be OK if the item is bigger than it says on the label.   eBay have said:

'If you use the recommended parcel size and your item exceeds the maximum size and weight of the label, you won’t be charged any additional costs.  You can still use the Simple Delivery postage label. T he courier will accept your package providing it remains within the maximum weight and dimensions for their service.'

Personally I wouldn't risk it.   If I have an idea the item is bigger than ebay recommend I would change it to the larger parcel size.

SIMPLE DELIVERY SIZING

Thank you. The example they give really threw me as sweaters are surely going to be small parcel, but they have given the example to be for large letter? I didn't know whether to go with large letter size or small parcel
