Insurance to Global Shipping Program Warehouse

My item has sold for £100 and will be sent via GSP. How do I insure it for the UK leg of the journey?

I have read on eBay that the UK part is for me to insure, when it reaches GSP it’s then covered. The Post Office cannot add two tracking labels to the same parcel and the one they printed from the eBay QR code is tracked 48 which doesn’t cover the value. Who pays if it’s lost or damaged in the UK?

Thanks

If you sold with GSP, then the UK postage will use Ebay Simple Delivery which offers compensation up to £750.

Royal Mail compensation for Tracked 48 is now £75, but Ebay have clearly negotiated a better deal.

If it is lost or damaged in the UK, Ebay will refund your buyer.
