Alternative to Ebay postal service

Hi, 

do any of you guy's know if it's still possible to post items that you've sold yourself without using the Ebay postal service?

You can now only opt out of Simple Deivery for letter items under £10/100g or extra heavy/large items.   Even then people are having problems doing that.

Right OK, thank you for taking the time to respond. Do you know where I can find the details about what is classed heavy/large items at all?

It's bigger than 61cm x 61cm x 46cm or heavier than 20kg.   The opt-out isn't working as it should at the moment but if you want to use it see Rick's solution on here:
