Just received a parcel from Evri, arrived intact and on time (yes, really), no complaints.
But after it was delivered, they sent me an automated email apologising that the delivery date has been delayed and they will let me know a new date for delivery...
And yes I've checked, it's the same order number as the delivered item.
I'm wondering if their IT system is mixing up its messages. I would have expected the "your item has been delivered" email.
