can I stop HMRC from accessing my eBay account ? I have recently sold about 100 items now I am down to selling small amounts I do not have a business it is only selling to keep my hobby going which is i small valued items I purchase on eBay.

No you cannot stop eBay providing your sales details to HMRC if they require them when you reach the thresholds of selling 30 items in one year or clearing £1700.

If you are buying items on eBay to then sell on eBay perfectly legal,  but this then is classed as a Business.
