Unable to search purchase history

I can no longer search my purchase history - whatever I search for, it usually says "No orders were found - please search for another item".  I recently bought 2 Nokia phones.  If I search for 'Nokia' or 'phone', neither of them come up.

I tried searching for a recent purchase made of cast iron.  My search for 'cast' gave one result from 3 years ago for castration rings.    There seem to be maybe 20 or 30 items out of hundreds that I can search for.

Did you perhaps buy these items as ' Guest Purchases'?  If so, they would not be registered in your eBay account as this was not used for the purchase.

The link below will show you how to retrieve any guest purchase details:

Not sure why you are searching for your items by entering the description?  Clicking on My eBay >> Purchase History  then scroll down the list will show you all your Purchases ,you may need to go top right to see orders All to select the year of purchase or last 60 days.

Unable to search purchase history

No, I was definitely logged in when I bought the items.  I've been on ebay for many years and have bought hundreds of items, so it takes a long time to search through all of my purchases.

Until recently the search worked fine.  Before I bought the Nokia phones (a couple of weeks ago), I searched Purchases and it came up with the phone I had bought previously (a few years ago).  Now this other phone doesn't come up and neither do the recently purchased phones.

To test the problem, I have brought up my Purchase History and searched for recent items which are visible.  The search yields no results.  To further test, I tried searching for 1 letter - e.g. 'n' - 4 items come up, even though there must be hundreds of items with an 'n' in the title.  There seems to be no rhyme or reason to which items are searchable - some are from 2021, a few from the start of 2024, one or two from this year, but only a small selection of maybe 10-20 items ever come up

Unable to search purchase history

Update: This problem has gone away.  I spoke to customer support; they were fairly unhelpful and promised to get back to me, but never did.  Today I checked and searches work fine.
