I combined two items (which I sold as a single lot) into one parcel as there was no way that I could find to print more than one postage label. This resulted in a parcel that was 52cm x 52cm x 52cm.
The seller help under "How to ship" states "If your item size and weight exceed the size and weight printed on the label, please proceed to ship the item; the carrier will accept the package" so that is what I did.
The tracking includes "This parcel is bigger than we expected, so a specialist Evri courier will need to deliver it. We're sorting this now and We'll update your tracking as soon as it's on its way".
Now Evri have returned the parcel to me after having it for over a week but marked it as "delivered". I can see no way to re-send the item. I cannot engage with, or open a case with, Evri Customer support - presumably because the bots think it has been delivered successfully.
I cannot at the moment see any way out of this situation other than breaking the shipment down into two smaller parcels, getting the customer contact details somehow, and shipping two parcels at my expense.
And yes - I have now seen the advice on how to persuade Simple Delivery that the parcel does not match the assumptions!
