Hello can anybody offer advice with this watch sell please.
I advertised a watch on Ebay, a day later it was purchased but the buyer emailed would I send a video so he could check the watch was authentic and he would send his email address. I heard nothing for 12 hrs until he asked why I had not sent the video..then 5 mins later he sent his address. I duly obliged and sent a video also explaining there would be a verification check by Ebay before he got the watch. Is this not the case? I'm selling for £2500 ish. He now states he has paid the money to Ebay and to send the watch directly to him, and I have an email from Ebay asking me to send the watch directly to the buyer and let them know when this is done by sending Ebay the tracking number. I'd like to know if people think this is legit or not, thank you so much. DS

The email from ebay doesn't sound right. They don't ask sellers to let them know the tracking. Is it showing as payment received?
I've just checked your listing and it does have Authenticity Guarantee on it. So once payment is received ebay will send you the AG address to send it to and they forward to the buyer.

The email says it's from Ebay and it asks me to send the shipping receipt/tracking number for verification:

No, that's not right. eBay don't do that. It's a scam by your "buyer". Cancel via the dropdown menu arrow alongside the item on your orders list. And put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

Thank you for your correspondence. I think it is a scam. 'Ebay' are asking for my tracking and I won't get my money until I've posted the watch directly to the buyer, not to verification.

Its a SCAM and, unfortunately, you helped by 'exchanging' contact details.

It's a scam, do not do anything except cancel the sale as **peaseblossom** says

The 'buyer' HAS NOT paid.
The email is fake.
Cancel the sale.
Block the bidder.
Ignore requests for things like videos - you can always add a video to your listing.
As advised, using your private email leaves you open to attempted scams.
