Have you opened an eBay item not received or not as described return?

How long have you had the item?  Why do you want a refund?

What does the seller say in their email?

Refunds are not obtained by messages, you have 30 days to open a case for a refund, and if no response from seller you can then escalate to ebay after 3 days.

Seller is hoping to get you out of time and Ebay will not get involved unless you open a case for a refund.

If it's still within 30 days of the delivery date start a return on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
select "Item doesn't match description" and escalate it to eBay after 3 complete working days.

If you've already started that you don't have to wait for the seller to communicate.    Just escalate to ebay when that option appears which is at least 3 complete working days after you started it.

Have you opened that return case citing.... Item Does not Match Description or Photos?

You must do this, messaging the seller does not help or enforce a refund.

Once the case is opened it gives the seller 3 days to either send a return label or fully refund you.  If they do neither, just escalate the case,  ask eBay to step in, and they'll force the refund.

Any other message to the seller is not necessary just stick with the case details,  and do not forget to escalate.

As has been advised several times, you need to open a return case.

Then, if the seller doesn't respond and arrange for you to return the item (it would be useful to know what it is) you can ask Ebay to step in.

If you don't open a case through Ebay, then Ebay won't help you.

You're welcome.

Just remember when you open that case, not to close it early no matter what the seller says or promises, and do not forget to escalate when the option appears on day 4 .
