Sudden Multiple Items issue

Hi all,

Ebay top rated business seller here for over 20 years. Account metrics in good order. Business levels normal for time of year....

I have had customers reporting that that can only buy one of an item. I have tested this myself and when you put in >1 in the Quantity box a red warning message displays below "Please enter a quantity of 1 or more"  - actually it will let customers buy but obviously it is off putting.  See snip attached

This glitch only seems to apply to desktop Chrome and Firefox not the mobile app. Ebay were not really helpful - just said all normal their end.  Any ideas? I suspect is has something to do with multiple items discounts.

Cheers

Sudden Multiple Items issue

Hi @brock_and_roll ,

Thank you for your post.

I understand where your coming from. The way the message appears is as designed on the eBay end. When clicking into the listing on the desktop the quantity box will show 1. If a buyer is looking to buy more then when they click into that box and delete the 1 that red message will appear to state 1 or more needs to be entered meaning it cannot be empty. Once they enter the amount they can continue to checkout. The message remains until it goes to the checkout page.  The message does state 1 or more but I can see it might not be read like that to some buyers so will share it as feedback to our development team.

Thank you,

Kat
