I have read articles about Simple Delivery but I’m still a bit confused about compensation so would appreciate your help.
I’m planning to list ceramic items to sell but they are on the EVRI list as items they will not pay compensation for. If they are damaged in transit using Simple Delivery will I be compensated by eBay?

This needs clarifying by eBay. If possible please ask again on the weekly chat with staff tomorrow at 2pm.

Hi, I posted my question on today’s weekly chat and it was answered as -
Yes with Simple Delivery if the item is damaged you are protected as the seller. The funds for the transaction will remain with you and eBay will refund the buyer.
This would count as a positive reason to use simple delivery as there are lots of items Evri will not pay compensation for if the seller bought the postage direct from Evri.

That is good news. Thanks for letting us know. Now we just have to see if it works in practice.
