Duplicate Label GSP Need Help

Hey, I had three order's around the same time, so I shipped them at the same time last Friday, I used eBay pre-paid qr codes to ship, I showed the qr codes to the postal worker, and my family member recorded the whole process since the items are worth a lot of money and I was concerned in-case anything would go wrong (lucky !!) the next day 2/3 items updated tracking, but the third didn't, so I checked my reciept from the postal office and saw only two items, after reviewing the video, the postal worker had scanned one of the qr codes twice, and applied them to two different buyers orders, I called support immediately and they assured me I'd be protected since I sent the items to GSP and it's their problem from there, they said they'd find the duplicate and assured me it wouldn't be shipped to the wrong buyer, they even said they'd call me back on Tuesday, Tuesday came and I heard nothing, so I called again, and the support told me they'd enquire with the GSP team via email, I recieved an email back the next day saying they couldn't find the item, the thing is, the support worker had told them to look for the third qr code which was never scanned, instead of a duplicate, so I messaged support again, same thing, gsp emailed back saying that I can inquire with the postal office to stop the delivery to gsp or arrange a return with the buyer once both items arrive, I knew the item had already reached GSP days ago at that point, and I was assured the duplicate wouldn't ship, so I called again and was pending update, when today I recieved an email saying that two items have been shipped to the same buyer, the very thing I was assured wouldn't happen, they even have seperate ebay tracking codes, I called support again and they told me the same thing, that they'd email the gsp center, but that it would be more tricky this time since the items had left the domestic center, I asked them since I sent the items I'm seller protected right? and they seemed to insinuate that because the third qr code showed nothing posted, that I wasn't, and now I'm freaking out, my anxiety is through the roof, how is it possible that the items have gone through ebay's gsp center, and shows two parcels containing the same item, same weight, packaging, etc, adressed to the same buyer, with identical labels, and not take that as proof that I shipped the items? I was assured once they reached the gsp center that I would be seller protected, I'm sure this isn't a mega uncommon issue as it's human error, so if anyone has any advice or in a similar experience that would really help, because I'm not sure what to say to buyer B who won't recieve his item

I think you need to be proactive here as all three expensive items are now on their way and Ebay have not done anything to sort out your issue.

Although you have been assured that you will be protected (against an item not received claim) once they reach the GSP centre, if tracking only shows two parcels reached the centre, I don't believe this will be the case.  According to records and tracking, as one code was not scanned, one item was never sent.  That buyer will open an item not received case, you will have no tracking to prove delivery and you will be expected to refund them.

Personally, I would certainly contact the buyer who has been sent two items and alert them to what has happened.

Ask them if they will contact you as soon as they receive the packages.  You will need to provide payment or a label so they can return the item they should not have been sent to you.

You need to hope that buyer is honest and helpful so you can get your item back.

I would also message buyer B.

Tell them concisely and clearly that their item has been sent to the wrong buyer but you are trying to sort it out.

Duplicate Label GSP Need Help

Because this is an error by the Post Office I can't see eBay, the GSP or any other party getting involved here.

I always ask the postal worker to call out the name on the address label once they've printed it and attached it to the package, only because I've seen this error happen, it's a really easy one to make.

I honestly don't know what to suggest here.  If eBay do come up with a workaround please come back and update this thread, it may be useful to other sellers who find themselves in the same situation. Again, I do think that it's a Post Office issue though, and I'm not aware that they have anything in place to deal with this. Maybe find out who to open a complaint with?
