Buying from EBay Canada

A seller in China is selling something on EBay Canada that I want to buy.  When I do a worldwide search on EBay UK the item does not come up.  How can I buy it?

Does it appear on the UK site if you put the item number in?

There may be a very good reason it doesn['t appear in the UK, in that it may be prohibited, etc.

EDIT: Also the seller may not sell overseas?

If you do manage to find it dont forget you'll have VAT/Duty to pay.

No when I search on the item number nothing comes up. I really don’t think it’s a prohibited item.
