eBay

I work during the day so I'm not at home when the postman delivers.   However, for some reason I notice about half of items on eBay are not adveristed/listed as being click and collect. When you go to pay for the items, the click and collect option is not there.   I am a bit puzzled about why this is the case, as I would have thought the click and collect process is handled and processed through eBay and so isn't any extra cost or burden to the seller. I know on my listings, the click and collect option is there and I didn't do anything, it is just there by default.   I have bid on some items but have just relaised the click and collect option isn't avilable.   I am wondering, what will happen If when I pay, I change the postage address to the click and collect store I normally use and copy/paste the ecp code from one of my previous purchases? In theory, it should work fine as the person behind the counter will just see that the extra package belongs to me as it will have my name on it as well as the same ecp/fm code which I have saved on my phone as proof of purchase.   My only concern is I won't get a notifaction from eBay when my item arrives, so I will have to go in and ask if a package has arrived for me. ... Hi,   I purchased an item of clothing and upon receiving it I realised that the descprion was incorrect. I've headed back onto ebay and submitted a returns request, it was rejected by the seller. I've now looked at this in more details and the seller has deactivated their account and when I try to contact eBay through their help centre it tells me that a returns is already open for the product, I follow the links it offers and it shows that my return case is closed.... I bought 50 face masks from a seller on ebay.   Before the item arrived ebay stopped the seller from selling as many were price gouging however this seller was actually selling at a rreasonable price of £20 for 50 masks.   But......the seller was indeed an unscrupulous character and was deceiving buyers using a trick chinese sellers use.....they advertise as "uk seller" and "sent by royal mail" but what happens is that they order in bulk from china and the items are repackaged when they arrive in the uk.   This means that the items take way longer than the maximum delivery date and they fob you off with stories to account for the delay.   Not only that but I did not want to order such an item from a country where the virus started lol   When I went to leave negative feedback a message says "you can no longer leave fb for this item try leaving fb for other items you bought instead"   THERE IS NO REASON WHY I SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO LEAVE FB I BOUGHT THE ITEM!!!!!   DISGRACEFUL BEHAVIOUR BY EBAY.         ... Hi all   I purchased two items and gave seller positive 4+ reviews,afterwaiting for his feedback I contacted numerous times and finally got this reply Really sorry you feel like this. My customer service is focused on getting the item delivered and on time. Dear All,   Has anyone ever experienced the same?!   I have been buying/selling on ebay around 10 years now (771 stars, if that matters ),maybe I am not following the new updates about ebay services,  but  this is a bit surprising for me anyway   Unfortunately, the postal service returned the item to the seller with a comment that they were unable to deliver the item, even if I have been available on the address given. The seller has received back the item as it clearly shows in the discussion with the seller (he even sent me pictures about the received package).   And I haven't received any refund back which I wouldn't think as a fair decision as I have paid for both the item and the postage total and I haven't received back even the price of the item (vinyl album).   I wouldn't call this as an equal or clear measurement of the situation.   Thanks! ... The SEND button is greyed out when I try to send photos of the damaged item from my iphone.   The seller sent a messagel requesting the photos so I tried to respond by using the 'reply' button, but it doesn't work.   The reply link to the seller works from my laptop...but the photos are on my iphone, I cannot get them onto my laptop.   But why is the send button grey anyway?  ...
