Send button is grey when trying to answer a message from the seller.

The SEND button is greyed out when I try to send photos of the damaged item from my iphone.

The seller sent a messagel requesting the photos so I tried to respond by using the 'reply' button, but it doesn't work.

The reply link to the seller works from my laptop...but the photos are on my iphone, I cannot get them onto my laptop.

But why is the send button grey anyway?

Not necessary or essential to send photos of a damaged item ... the Seller can decide through an open case if the item is worth returning >

Open a suitable return case 'Not as described' (damaged) ... check the case options you have which are offered within 30 days from delivery,  Seller should supply a prepaid return label (or eBay will),  enter the tracking details into the open case and follow the instructions carefully to completion ... ignore seller promises >

The phone app is absolutely useless for that...In fact it is pretty useless for most things!!
