i return item to seller and royal mail tried to deliver no answer I emailed the seller to let him no that the item is at the local delivery centre --he said it your problem you will have to sort it out and your not getting a refund --and ebay has closed the case --what is the best thing to do--thanks
eBay would only close the case if you did not escalate on time and let the case time out.
A seller does not actually have to accept an item back, otherwise, that's all a seller has to do , and no refunds would be made. After posting back all you needed to do was to enter the tarcking number into the case, and escalate after 48 hours, the seller would have ben enforced to fully refund you.
You cannot open another case with eBay.
Open one now with Paypal, enter that number and escalate after 2 days and before 20 . Do not forget to escalate, it's your last chance for a refund.
