Probably because the listing was caught in Ebay's Covid-19 price-gouging / profiteering sweeps.

That doesn't mean your item won't arrive. It's probably on its way. But if it hasn't arrived a week after the delivery estimate on the order (deliveries are slow at the moment, obviously, so give it extra time), open an Item Not Received case. There's no rush, as you have 30 days from the delivery estimate in which to do so. If you find you can't open one on Ebay, open one in PayPal.

If it was an item regarding the pandemic and from a private seller, it would have been removed by eBay....

you need to make a claim through PayPal, stating item was removed by eBay
