I was a couple of days late posting an item, posted it today and sent the buyer a message to apologise and tell them the item was posted. I got a message from ebay which read "Your buyer has reached out about their order. Since you used Simple Delivery, we'll work with your buyer directly on any delivery related questions." can anybody tell me what this means please? Dose it mean the customer responded? If so why won't they let me see the response?

Mentor9 months agoIgnore that message. It's a very odd ' quirk' if you like, when seller or buyer message each other it triggers that rather odd message of ' buyer reaching out'.
As said, ignore it, your buyer has not reached out, if they need to ask any further questions to your message re late delivery you will receive a message from them.
