      Ebay's Global Shipping Program

Hello, I recently contacted an ebay seller in the states about posting to the UK as he had not included it as a destination he would either post to or exclude. The seller sent me this message response: Hi, Thanks for your interest ❤️I use Ebay’s Global Shipping Program, and I have heard that they don’t ship to the UK for some reason. I you want to investigate, please feel free to do so …Thanks, Ken Is what he says true and if so can someone explain why that is? Thank you in advance for your clarification. Kind regards.....39*hotpants

Using Inpost Shop Labels at Lockers

If I purchase a inpost shop label on packlink can I use it at the lockers. There’s a difference in prices, but surely it’s the same label and won’t matter where it’s posted?

      help with combined postage please

Hi can anyone help as I can't seem to find an answer . I pay for ebay simple delivery. I have just sold 2 items to the same buyer but together they weigh over the 2kg allowed by royal mail. on the postage label that I have been sent to use. The buyer has already paid for combined postage up to 2kg but the items exceed this. It's an extra £10 at the post office to post the parcel and I didn't even get that for the two items

      Click and collect

I've just listed an item for sale and notice that it is showing the option to click and collect. In my selling preferences I am showing as NOT opted in for click and collect and I don't want to offer this option. How can I remove it?

      Golf Club Delivery

When listing golf clubs sometimes it gives me the option of Yodel for oversized packaged, and sometimes it doesn't. It only gives me the option for a medium sized parcel which obviously wont be big enough. I have gone to 'Choose Couriers' and Yodel isn't on the list. Anyone have any tips?

One listing - two separate parcels

Hello, I have one listing but it is going to require two separate parcels to be sent. The items are too big to place in a larger box. So how do I list the postage for two parcels on one listings? Thanks

I am very disappointed with the service I received from eBay.

I purchased a postage label in March that was never used. I have contacted customer support several times over the past three months, but each time my case is passed to another team and I have not received my refund.I have waited patiently and have spent a considerable amount of time chasing this issue. I dont know what to do now....

3 Hour 'Wait to Post' Delay

I am confused about the new 3 hour delay between an item selling and being able to post it. I understand it's to allow the buyer of the item more browsing time and to possibly purchase another item and be able to get combined postage from the seller. I don't charge for postage and I have to pre select the postage amount based upon the weight and size of the item. If another item is bought by the same buyer it could alter the size and weight of the package and make the postage selected based upon the item irrelevant. I might have misunderstood this new policy but I have found that it now delays me being able to post the item the same day and surely fast despatch of a sold item is important to both buyers and sellers?

Custom postage over ridden bu buyer?

Listed a few lightweight items & as Simple Delivery was going to be £2.70 I did a custom postage option so it would only cost buyer £1.55. Sold two items & buyers have selected RM Small Parcel up to 2kg, way more than needed & at a cost of £3.95! Messaged buyers who said I could change it but I apparently can’t! Help?

Complaints about Evri, please stop using them, they may be cheap but they don't deliver

There are highs and lows for many delivery companies. Sometimes, we, as a business find one is ok for a period and then we have to move to another. Staff seems to be the key, rather unsurprisingly but we keep our options open and on many days use multiple companies. I have seen complaints about royal mail, Yodel and Evri (Hermes) most recently but to date I have to say that being a small seller and sending up to 11 or 12 packages a day Royal Mail works for us. But buying is a different matter and this is where I join in others by asking why does eBay continue to support a company like Evri, who to us, has failed consistantly to deliver or even when it has finally got to us the delivery is substandard, smashed, broken. I am yet again awaiting a package costing over a 100.00 and being resold as part of another set of items. three days after its last due date its not here and tracking has stopped, you dont know where it is, just the intended date and delivery but marked as delayed. This has happened so many times that now I pre empt and ask sellers not to send via Evri and if they have, as soon as it is delayed I start asking, using all the email address I have for Evri and eBay providing the tracking numbers. It costs me time that I could use elsehwre but this is because out of each three items lost I may actually get one by being quick. Seriously this is how many iotems go missing, get lost, are broken or the lates one is "destroyed" Sellers please understand, using Evri will end up taking a lot more time, cost you more money and probably losing the sale. By the same implication this must be costing eBay, who we know is all about the money, one hell of a lot of money. Evri may be cheap but they dont do the job. The mistake by many sellers is they dont understand that they have a reposnability to ensure the item gets to the buyer and not that it ends when they hand it over to the courier who is only contracted by them to deliver. In our case that contract has been broken many times and has cost sellers time and lost sales while eBay has had to fork out a lot of money in compensation. For us its loss of business, lost sales, while we will never use Evri to send we still have sellers we buy from keen on the "cheap" price and dont realise its false economy.   If you have bad service from Evri please complain, lets raise this profile and either get them to understand that its not about chat bots and automation, its the people they use to deliver, to handle and its obvious they are not motivated. Whats the use in having such a basic tracking and AI when the system just does not know where your package is or where it has been delivered or what to do about it when it is gone...... Somewhere in the ether of Evri.
