Ebay restricted my account, I don't know why. I received an email with the following: To help remove the restriction on your account, you will need to provide Proof of Employment by submitting one of the following: -- Letter of employment verification >> Must be on company letterhead, including your full name, company name *AND* address -- Recent paystub (must include your full name, company name and address) -- Tax record (must include your full name, company name and address) -- Letter of unemployment What's going on? I'm a buyer, not a seller! I'm from Brazil and it doesn't make sense to provide that kind of information.

I just lost out on an auction as every time I was trying to submit a bid I was getting an automated message saying the item wasn't eligible for Uk shipping. The seller was in Liverpool, the advert said shipping available for £ 3.50 and I am in Milton Keynes. It was very frustrating as this has never happened to me before. Is this a general problem any one else has experienced?

I pride myself on taking my own photos and writing my own descriptions for the items I sell on ebay, as I think it builds buyer trust. However other sellers have started using my photos and descriptions when selling similar items. Do I have any comeback with ebay to stop them from doing this? If so how do I go about it? I am not happy to put hours of work into my listings only for someone else to steal them without asking. Thanks in advance, Jon.

I came back after a hiatus with a basic shop subscription and idea of listing near towards the 250 BIN limit. I managed 90 listings, 1 sale so at least my shop fee got covered. I’m already putting new listings on the backburner and doing other things. It takes too long to list here I could have got the 250 up elsewhere by now. My only sale got posted on Friday with Royal Mail and the tracking hasn’t moved from the Post Office so it is already running late. How do you stay motivated on here? I don’t tend to quit things but with eBay I get disheartened like no other platform. I’m considering using listing monster to blitz through listing as a solution to it. Any other ideas, what strategies do people have to break through it and keep going? I feel like listening to my gut sometimes and stop forcing it here when it is such an energy sapper.
