I bought something through eBay and chose click and collect. I haven't had any issues with it so far, but since my local collection point is closing soon, I had to select a new one. I purchased the item on the 25th, and it was delivered on the 29th, but I never received my collection code. I contacted eBay customer service to see what they could do, but they just told me to provide the ECP, which should generate the code. However, when I got there, it didn’t work. I still haven't received the code, even though they said I should get it within five minutes. I contacted them again, but it didn’t help—they just told me the collection point staff should reach out to eBay. I'm worried I wasted my money because, since the item was delivered but I wasn’t notified, I might not be able to return it. Is there anything I can do?

Call CS again and ask to speak to the C & C team.
You can also contact the seller as the item may be returned to them after 7 days and as it's a C&C, you should receive a refund.

Just politely and firmly ask to be put through to them so they can look in to the issue.
