I was flashed this message this evening after adding Tracking to the item I posted this evening. We have to track Royal Mail items on the RM website. What this means for Item Not Received claims I know not.

From my side of things, from a buyers point of view,i get same message when i click on "track" but i still get a tracking number which takes me to RM's site when i click on it.
That then shows the status of item.
The message does come across though as if it's saying
"ooh,it's RM,we don't have anything to do with them".
Pass the buck sort of thing 🙄

MAYBE A SIMILAR ISSUE
i posted a dvd box set royal mail small parcel .
the buyer contacted me to say it didnt arrive
so ive got a reciept a tracking number
i track on ebay shows in transit
yet ebay is allowing the buyer to open a non received item case
so i contact the buyer send him all details
i track on the RM site advised no information avalible
so i wait
ebay automatically refunds my buyer
so i return to royal mail to claim (not via any Ebay link which is unforgivable )
the royal mail site will not accept the tracking anymore
so £7 for the dvd £3.80 to post .bubble envelope so lets say £13 down
then the buyer leaves stinking feedback that he will not remove ?
If the site is to allow the royal mail to be included in any selection of postage it need to be holding hands with them . I FEEL AT THE MOMENT THET ARE JUST WAVING AT EACH OTHER

Yes same here, just noticed it when seeing if something had been delivered, so now maybe loads of defects for late items, when in fact they won't be

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that this is resolved now, and the message in question was only a technical issue. We've just double checked and we can see that it no longer says this, but thanks again for letting us know about this issue.
Thank you,
Marco
