Royal Mail alternatives. Any other companies out there

For any sellers that have moved away from Royal Mail, could you let me know who you are now usings?

Who is out there that is an alternative to Royal Mail?

Most of my items sold are Large Letter in size and are under 100 grams. We use Royal Mail 24 just now but the amount of my items that aren’t getting delivery reports is terrible. Over 20%.

Royal Mail also doesn't provide any compensation if they lose anything so if a customer claims because they notice that there item shows as undelivered, or if Royal Mail lost the item I loss out and its damaging my small business.

I am hoping there are better companies out there.

You will struggle I think, due to the size of the items you are sending.

If you were to put a first class stamp on though you would be covered upto £20. I don't know what the rate is for RM24, but if its considerably less than £1.25 a stamp what about meddling with the postage and going 2nd class standard at 75p - you would still have the £20 compensation to claim against.
