im selling an item and a buyer wants to pay by klarna. its a worthy amount of money that I don't want to lose. so my concern is do I get the full payment and then on their side they pay three installments and second can they get a way out of not paying the full amount

You won't know how buyer funds payment as they pay ebay. 

Listing shows Klarna as 1 of payment options, so it is available to buyers.

You get full amount.
