eBay's Sales.

eBay unfortunately, do not come to these boards to read messages,  we are all members like yourself.

Many are affected by the new payout measure and fees,  especially those selling low priced items.

Find and join in, the many discussions on the forum, see what others think.

There are a couple of things you could do to possibly help sales pick up.

You offer free postage - you must have to pay to post items so put this as a separate charge, rather than including it in the price.

The 4% Buyer protection fee is charged on the cost of the item but not postage so that would reduce the cost to your buyer by a small amount.

Also, as you sell a lot of footwear, have you thought about accepting returns on those sales?  You could offer 14 day returns so that, if the item didn't fit, the buyer could return the shoes/boots at their own expense.

I would only ever buy clothes or footwear online from a seller who offered 'any reason' returns in case the item didn't fit.

I don't think Ebay is going to change their policy so sellers have to adapt. (Just my opinion.)
