Ebay postage label

I printed this label yesterday from ebay for a sale. However it has been rejected by the post office as the large letter weight is 1g (see image)!!  So I've now paid £2.80 at the post office as the  weight is clearly more

than a gram!  This seems a rubbish issue caused Royal Mail.  But I cant seem to alert eBay to this.  Anyone else come across this?

Yep , it happens I hear from those qho buy labels from eBay.

I can show you how to receive a full refund for the label not used,  and then you can buy the correct one,  or  even just take it to your Post office and buy over the counter postage, if you do you'll have to manually mark it as dispatched.

For the refund,  find your label with this link  it may take up to 24 hours to appear.   https://www.ebay.co.uk/ship/lmng/labels-history/seller-hub and to the left of the sales record there is a drop down menu under 'Actions' click on that , then click on 'Void Label'.

The refund will take between 5 - 21 days to process.

You have to check weight before printing label.

Default is 1g.

It is not a Royal Mail issue.

When I worked at the Post Office, a lot of Ebay sellers brought items in with 1g weight on.

The weight you enter does not have to be exactly right, but it does have to be equivalent to or more than the weight of the actual package.

As advised, you can get a refund on the label you bought and you need to check you enter sufficient weight before you buy and print your label.

Or, buy your postage from the Post Office to avoid these frustrating errors.
