Post office size issue

I sold an item and the default for the item is a 'large letter'. Buyer has paid. At the post office they say the item is too big. Can I amend to small package or is it too late. What are my options? I have a QR code which is useless now.

Simple Delivery postage cannot be amended.    You can either cancel/refund the transaction with the buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list) and relist with correct postage for the buyer to buy and pay again.     Or buy and pay for the correct postage yourself.
