Am sick and tired of Chinese sellers on ebay. The ebay site is swamped with Chinese sellers. Every time I want to buy something they swamp the sites I look on. Why does ebay allow it. I live in the UK and I want to see UK only. When I choose UK only it still comes up with china using London addresses. Why aren't you monitoring the ebay sites better. I refuse to buy from them. Hello,   I wonder if anyone could help?   I recently purchased a car splitter through ebay - item arrived promptly and was in good condition as described. I fitted the part over the weekend using the screws and tape provided but when I then drove the car, I heard the splitter drag along the road. After checking, the splitter was still in place but the front hanging low. I am confident that I fitted the splitter correctly and believe that the screws provided were strong enough to hold the splitter in place, therefore causing the front to drop.   After then contacting the seller and reading the seller reviews, I noticed that some buyers have also disputed the quality of the goods recieved (which I originally missed) and noted that other sellers provide bolts instead of screws when selling this product so I am certain that the fault lies with the screws supplied. I emailed the seller to explain that I was not satisified with the parts and would either like a refund or a replacement part. However, their response was that the parts only fail due to incorrect fitting and they would not accept a return nor give a refund for the part.   Please can anyone advise what I should do next.   Thanks, ... I looked at an item that is "in Portsmouth" yet the delivery time is between 2.5 - 3 weeks. How is this possible? I messaged the seller for an explanation and merely got "yes you can buy it soon". I'm guessing the item isn't in UK at all but without clicking on each item in the search to check the delivery times how do I filter these out? This is really frustrating.   Also. Does anyone know who actually puts the tracking info into Hermes? I've another item that claimed to be in Halifax yet has been in Sheffield since 19th May. Is the seller able to manipulate tracking data? It just says "in transit". The tracking info in ebay does not match the tracking info at Hermes. This is also frustrating. ... View more

Hi there   I purchased an electrical item (a Sonos speaker) last week and when it arrived I found that it was fitted with an EU/2 prong plug and a (not particularly brilliant) adapter. The seller did not mention this in the advert, nor was it in any of the photos and nor did they use the opportunity to mention is when I specifically asked whether it came with the original power cable.   The seller is being, in my opinion, incredibilty rude and is denying that there is any wrongdoing because the description is accurate. It is accurate if the fact that it is not a UK item is omitted. I suppose in the same way if someone were given fish eggs with their full English breakfast they're still technically eggs.   What are my options? The seller, in his first message back stated he would not accept any returns or refunds but I have to believe that I am covered by some sort of protection here. If I had know the item was non UK I would not have purchased it, or I would have offered less because the item is worth less (not quite worthless, but definitely less).   Would be very happy to hear other people's opinions or suggestions or even experiences in the matter.   Thank you   EDIT: Seller is a private (non business) UK based individual ... hi i won an auction it was for a tent priced at £170.00.i paid through pay pal,next day said was dispatched to parcel2go,i checked the tracking number and wasnt returning any results,so thinking ill leave it till following day then check again same again nothing,then following day sent me message saying due to corona virus all orders would be delayed by 2 weeks,so i messaged him back to say thats fine i understand,then i got another message stating that hes had delivery slot for 21st may. nothing came so decided to go check parcel2go.com they received nothing,following morning(friday) i contacted ebay after 8 days ive to contact them if seller doesnt reply.i found out the guys email through my paypal.in a polite manner ive asked him to reply to my messages and also emails i sent,still nothing its now been 4 days since delivery date no replies no tent no refunds  sorry for ranting away but really angry  with this seller ...
