Did you open an official return or send it back yourself?

through a return, seller pays for return label if not as decribed, once returned, seller has 2 days to refund, or you ask ebay to step in who will.

if you returned it yourself, you needed to have used tracked, to prove it`s return, so if you did`nt open a return, open one now and enter the tracking into the case. If you did`nt return it tracked, your relying on the sellers honesty to refund and in my opinion, i would`nt hold your breath.

All sellers private & business have 5 days (ebay have extended this from 3 at the moment) to refund you after receiving item.

I guess business sellers can take longer if they have lots to deal with.

If no refund within 5 days, you can escalate case to ebay.

To help support our buyers and sellers with items returned during this period, we have applied new temporary extensions to our returns and eBay Money Back Guarantee policy:

  • Buyers have 21 business days to post their returned item back to the seller, from the moment the seller accepts a return and the buyer receives a returns postage label
  • Sellers have 5 business days to issue a refund, from the date that the tracking confirms the item has been delivered back to them
