Simple Delivery

Hi

I am trying to list for the first time in ages and want to sell a mobile phone but this new simple delivery says the buyer or seller will pay postage rates starting from £3.44

Why can't i select my own shipping and why can i not see what the postage cost will be up front, I don't want to list it until i know what it will cost, 

Also if it sell and i print an ebay label off for Royal Mail will i be able to just drop it in a Royal Mail Parcel post box or take it to the local delivery office?

I have loads of items from clothing, jewellery, electricals and books etc to list but not sure about all this malarkey, seriously what has happened here it looks a mess?

Simple Delivery
