At a guess Ebay are reviewing your account because you have one feedback which could be determined as negative.......on a positive
Did your buyer open a not as described case under Ebays Money Back guarantee? If yes this is not good in relation to a first/or one of your first sales on their site.
Have they informed you why they are under review? Are you using a "real bank" and not just a virtual online bank? New sellers do tend to have their funds held for a while to make sure the transactions go well. Ebay have high standards when selling on the site.

Thank you for your reply.
It is my first sale for a number of years and the sale was for a few hundred pound.
it just says that they are reviewing my recently added bank account and this could take up to a week but it has been over that so was just wandering why it would take so long. It is a normal bank account not virtual and buyer has received goods etc.

If you haven't sold for many years, have you fully and correctly registered for eBay's Managed Payments, and had your bank account verified which is usually done by sending 2 micro deposits into that account and for you to confirm these back to eBay ?

Hi danipea-35, thanks for your post.
I've just checked for you there, and it looks like you've recently updated your bank details. When this happens, it can take up to 48 hours for the changes to take effect, and then you might need to verify your bank account. If after this period you still see no progress, please feel free to contact our customer service team here, and they will be able to take a further look for you.
Thank you,
Marco

Thank you for your reply. I tried to update the payout details as it had been on hold for over a week to verify my bank. Now it’s on hold again. I understand precautions but this has been since 9th August now. How do I contact the customer service team? All I can find is an automated system which just says the same thing each time.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.
