Auction is ending in 4 day but has been broken!

The sofa that I have auctioned has been badly damaged. The auction doesn’t end until Wednesday and I have one bidder. I don’t know what to do. Can I end the auction? Will I have to pay fees?

Do private sellers lose money to postage/admin fees for refunded cancellation requests?

I haven't had a buyer request to cancel a purchase after payment but I was wondering, if I do get a cancellation request is there a cost to me as a seller after refunding such as postage/admin fees?
