Trying to sell but struggling with process

I am new to selling in Ebay. I want to sell clothes. However first I have some items from my late father. For example I am trying to submit to sell a dvd box set. But it won't allow me as keeps coming up with delivery message. I just don't know what I am doing wrong? Also how would I know the weight of the item?

At a guess - you need to supply a delivery service you wish to use to post your item.
As for the weight question...you weigh it?

All sellers have to register for eBay's Managed Payments to be able to list items for sale and receive payouts from those sales,  have you done this ?

First you need to log out of this UK site,  and log into www.ebay.com to continue.

You need to provide eBay with details of a bank account and have this account verified.  The usual method here, is for eBay to send 2 micro deposits into that nominated bank account for you to receive,  and confirm to eBay.

Once this is completed,  you will be able to list items for sale,  and receive payouts from those sales.

If there is an issue with the registration contact eBay Customer Services,  who have full access to your account,  and can see where the issue lies and explain the steps you now need to take.

Yes I am selecting a delivery service but it still will not submit? Do I
need do apply anything in my profile settings? The page where I am adding
the item to sell just won't let me submit which keep saying it because
delivery

You might need to screenshot the Postage part of listing page.

This is something to try:

You may have selected / defaulted to,   " simple delivery"  on your listing.

This is a new service introduced where it is automatically selected on eligible listings.

There should be an option next to it, called  " custom postage"  and if you select this,  it should allow you to choose your own postage and delivery options.
