Postage problems

I sold a high value item and when listing I selected parcel force 48 but put my own cost in to cover insurance for the full amount. Now the buyer has paid, when I try to purchase postage label through eBay it’s only giving me the option to buy a label of a much lower value which wouldn’t cover the insurance.  How do I get around this?

Hi 2924christineh, thanks for your post.

If the courier and/or service that you want to use is not available through eBay, you can purchase your label from the courier directly, so you can get the service you wish. After that, the only thing you need to do is adding the tracking number to the order, so the buyer can track the item.
