Hi, I weighed and measured my listed item choosing the correct Evri postage up to 1kg. The item sold and I chose to buy the label through ebay but the label it printed was for 0.5kg. I've changed the packaging but can only get it down to 507gms.
I also see that the buyer lives in Inverness and I think there is a surcharge with evri to deliver here.
So why has ebay provided me with a label which I presume isn't valid?
Do I cancel the label and send through Royal Mail so long as buyer agrees?
Sadly I won't be selling to outlying areas from now on, I've spent most of my night on this! 😅😫
Any advice would be really welcome

Yes, cancel the label and buy postage from RM website or your post office. They don't charge extra for anywhere in the UK. Remember you have to add tracking and mark dispatched manually when you buy your own postage, via the dropdown actions menu for the item on your orders page.

Many thanks peaseblossom.
So I've tried to cancel the label and just get the message 'this label cannot be cancelled'. I've contacted Packlink to cancel it providing the reference numbers etc and they e-mailed asking me to cancel the label in the sellers hub - which it won't let me do!
I've just spoken to an ebay assistant on the 'phone who told me to ask the buyer to cancel the postage and arrange for payment to be made privately for new postage which I don't really want to do!
Help! I've lost another night on this reading thread after thread.... 😞
Why is it so complicated?
