I've been using inpost elsewhere, and thought I'd add to my eBay listings, but I'm a little confused.
Is the service on eBay limited to the locker to locker, or can a buyer choose home delivery. I checked the prices on the Inpost app and obviously there's a significant difference between them. So wasn't really sure if I was pricing on the basis of locker to locker or locker to home.
Could anyone let me know how it works?

This may help.

Personally I love it on Vinted, buyers choose it if they want to use it. On eBay I’m not sure locker to locker is a good idea I wouldn’t restrict buyers to using it. Home delivery likely fulfilled by Yodel, maybe Royal Mail in some cases?

Brilliant thanks - that was exactly what I couldn't find.
I mainly use RM, I had a second option of Evri - but as you now can't use the Inpost lockers for Evri I was going to remove it as it's not really convenient anymore. But I do love my inpost locker - ok that sounds a bit weird, but it's outside my favourite little cafe and on the school run, so it's no hardship!!! So I thought I'd add it as a second option.

It would be amazing if they integrated locker to locker on eBay.
The downside would be every locker in the area would have no compartments available they would need to have them on every corner ha.

As an aside
Locker to locker is great because no one can say it wasn’t received

I’ve had a fair few returned to me on Vinted, picked up by the courier after only 3/4 days so I have had to refund. It catches a few buyers out with short timescales for collection but thankfully it happens rarely.
I read the Packlink spiel earlier and it said 8 days. I’m a bit unclear how locker to locker is even an option on eBay, maybe a buyer can choose it through click and collect? I’d be interested to hear if anyone has successfully done locker to locker on here.

3 days is the limit for inpost locker collections then they get returned
buyers do get ample warning
on eBay inpost is a postage option though seems expensive for locker to locker ..on vinted its 2.40 or something here is 3.40 or something
I’ve never used it for that reason

That’s not a great price.
A low % of buyers use a click and collect service on here whereas the majority choose it over there.
It’s one area where eBay could really give the postage a facelift with better pricing.

I also find the inpost app good. I never thought I'd like a locker to locker service, until I started using it. Perhaps it's just that the location is good for me . My now nearest Evri locker isn't great so I'm ignoring that for the time being.
Maybe I won't be so keen when something goes wrong, but for now as a buyer elsewhere I'm using it in preference to others.
The only thing as a seller that winds me up is labels - a 6x4 would help for the printer. I end up using a pdf cropper which adds time.

Evri parcels are accepted at royal mail parcel shops.

Mine doesn't take Evri - but we have a new locker not too far away x
