You blocked me from bidding because I didn't pay within four days. I was waiting for other auctions to end so I could use one shipping option. It's not my fault that this situation can't be flagged. This isn't the first time you've canceled my winning bid without asking or even contacting me.

You are not talking to your seller or to eBay here, but to members like yourself.
eBay do not block bidders, but a seller can if a buyer has 2 unpaid item strikes or more.
This can be from non payment to other sellers, and the strikes do last 12 months.

It isn't up to the seller to contact you before blocking you from bidding. If you want to delay payment, it's up to you to contact them to explain.
It's important to do this as eBay enables sellers to cancel a sale if the buyer hasn't paid within four days. The buyer then receives an unpaid item strike from eBay, and the seller will probably also block them from bidding. (Get two strikes and almost all sellers will automatically block them from bidding.)
A short message will avoid these problems - especially if the reason is that you hope to combine it with another of their items that's ending soon.

"This isn't the first time you've canceled my winning bid without asking or even contacting me."
As sellers we are not mind readers, your last sentence would actually annoy me.
As a buyer it is your responsibility to check with the seller in advance that its ok not to pay as there are other items in auction coming up etc.
We had one the other week a buyer bought two items, we heard nothing from them in 5 days, so we cancelled the order as buyer didn't pay, and put them on our blocked list. Next morning we get a message that they wanted to buy the items and were looking to add to it so they could keep shipping costs lower, what should they do. We politely told them in future to ask the seller, if thats ok but they wont be doing it with us.
Most sellers will work with buyers in this way if they know whats going on.
