If a listing says (for example) " Royal Mail Tracked 48 " as the ONLY option, should they not honour the listing and send your stuff via " Royal Mail Tracked 48 " ? - Too many sellers lately are sending stuff via some less trustworthy couriers INSTEAD of what was offered in the listing and if (as they have with me just recently) they use " Yodel " in my area, my heart sinks because I know there's about a 50% chance that my stuff will be dumped 2 floors down, just inside the door to the flats in a very UNSAFE place (public corridor) even when the job shows that options to leave in a ' safe place ' or with a ' neighbour ' were shown as NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS DELIVERY.
So, Short of trying to contact and ask sellers in advance who they intend to use as the courier and having to wait hours or days for an answer or getting no answer at all, is there any way to get this issue raised with TPTB to see if they can impose some kind of penalty on sellers who pull this ' switcheroo ' *bleep* to make them much more likely to use the courier/s that they put in their listings ?
