Good morning. I have purchased an item that is counter-fit now and trying to open a case/return on ebay. I had to wait till this morning to contact/request return but i started a case with paypal yesterday now when i try and process a return i get this message "PayPal reports that a return should not be opened" Is this because ive all ready ask paypal to step in? Good evening   I sent an offer for an item to a seller, who accepted the offer.    The original item listing has postage listed at £3.99 to be sent '2nd class delivery with Royal Mail'.    However, when I went to checkout to buy, I noticed that the postage was now £4.99 to be sent via Hermes.   I messaged the seller to clarify who responded with "Hi , the dress is already cheap and I changed because will send with Hermes tracking option."   I'm not really bothered by the price but feel the agreement wasn't honoured. This feels disingenous to me and quite rude. It seems to me the seller wants to make up money on the item.    Can I ask the seller to send the item by Royal Mail as the original listing said? I would much rather the item be sent by Royal Mail rather than Hermes due to bad experiences with them in the past.    Many thanks ... View more

 Over the last 4 months I have bought 6 gps speedometers from 6 different sellers some fom China, some U.K.  When they arrive it is a childs necklace worth about 5p.  This is blatant  fraud . They are the same seller as the cheap jewelry is exactly the same.  They must rely on people not wanting to go through the hassle of making a return. Hi All,   I've been a E-Bayer for some years now but haven't used the site for a good while now. I purchased 2 sun loungers on Monday and made the mistake of purchasing as a guest as I couldn't recall my password. I paid immediately using my Visa Debit card.   A couple of hours later I recieved the email "eBay transaction may be from a compromised account" basically saying that I should raise the issue in the Resolution Centre as this was a fraudulent sellers account. I've logged on but as I paid as a guest the item isn't in my purchases therfore not allowing me to raise the issue.  I did use my email which is linked to ebay and  in my inbox there is the "compromised account" email.    Today the money was paid out of my bank account into a Paypal account. I've tried contacting the bank but with the current situation its taking ages for anyone to answer.    Is there anyway to resolve anything with Ebay or will I have to progress this with my Bank.   Pretty dissapointed with Ebay to allow fraudsters this easy access.   Thanks for any help. ... I have previously bought vaping liquid from one source, where I was required to verify my age. I have since bought the same product from another vendor and have been asked to verify my age again. I recently purchased a set of chairs. there were two of us watching the screen as we bid. the seller had several items for sale, two of which had the same starting price., but were for different chairs. The image & details displayed were of the items we wanted, but after purchase the confirmation email displayed the image & details of the other set of chairs- the ones we didnt want !   So we are in the situation of having paid for items we didnt want, but as all the confirmations etc display the details of these we have no evidence that  the wrong image was displayed at time of bidding.  We have resolved the issue with the seller, but at some cost - delivery charges etc.   We are completely baffled, but this definitely did happen!
