Do I have to verify my age for every individual seller of age restricted products or once only

I have previously bought vaping liquid from one source, where I was required to verify my age. I have since bought the same product from another vendor and have been asked to verify my age again. Isit the case that age has to be verified every time I buy from different sources. I thought that this Age Verification was a once only thing. Looking forward to being enlightened. Regards B.B.

By Law it is up to sellers to verify age, so it is likely to be asked by each seller
