If both private and business sellers list the same item for £15 and assuming the business seller pays a FVF of 15% inc VAT it works out as below
Private Seller - Lists the item at £13.70 and eBay add 4% + £0.75 + £15.00 - The private seller banks £13.70
Business seller - Lists at £15.00 , eBay charge a FVF of 15% = £2.25 - The business seller banks £12.75
Therefore the business seller on a £15 item is £0.95 worse off. That does not even take into account any shop fees and/or listing fees paid on top.
Or am I missing something ?

On the basis that they both sold an item for £15 they BOTH have the same FVF to pay but the private seller has more fees
The private seller is no longer charged a FVF , where have you been lol 🤣
