Following the recent pay per sale halo announcement I have decided to drop that method of advertising No need to go into the rights and wrongs of that policy here. There are other threads out there.
My question today is the amount of PPC budget. I initially selected a daily budget of £30 and the page suggested a daily budget of £146!
My total sales at the moment are around £350 per day on average. My pay per sales cost was around £10 per day. I cannot understand where they are getting these numbers from. If it doubled my sales that would up my effective fees from around 16% to 36%. My margin is not wide enough to eat that cost even at huge increases in sales.
What are peoples experiences as to the amount of extra trade the PPC advertising brings to your shop?
