Private seller & dropshipper double whammy...!

Well....

I looked at one of my previous best sellers and couldn't work out why I had no sales in the last 10 days, this does happen, sometimes stuff just doesn't sell as well as it used to, prices change competitors grow and I usually adjust my prices.

And what do I see, a private seller... selling way below a price I can even think of matching & that's because he's also dropshipping from China but claims stock is in the UK....

The same user has two accounts, one private and dropshipping & a business account dropshipping both claiming to hold the stock but don't.

Shipping time is 9 days...

Told ebay, he's not only living about being a private seller, but also manipulating tons of their own policies...

I won't hold my breath, i have so much stock to list, but I'm thinking of another platform because what is the point anymore.....

Anyone else struggling?

Some items in my niche being drop shipped from china.

Got onto the drop shippers website Q&A page where someone asked if it was genuine.

The answer was the packaging looked the same but the product was different.

Hopefully buyers will be savvy enough to realize if a price is too good to be true.

But as you already said, I won`t hold my breath.

Problem is, I think buyers just look at the price and think the more costly seller is price gouging.  When they receive the product and find that it's not what they expect, their disatisfaction is directed at all eBay sellers and eBay as a platform, and influences their future buying behaviour - then we all suffer.
