Query. US buyer messaged me for a combined postage on three items. Each have free postage

What would he be seeing from his end in terms of postage cost because he's requesting an invoice for the combined three or a postage deduction.

I don't really want to pay for part of the ebay global shipping cost. How do you think should I proceed?

You could make a listing with all 3 the buyer wants to buy then they would only get 1 GSP for all 3. I don't use GSP but think they would all go separately and the buyer would get 3 charges if left as it is and any reduction would come from your part. Maybe others have more experience with GSP and could offer some other solution

GSP is determined by ebay... I would request a call back from customer service to explain the situation and how to proceed... I would also contact your buyer and explain that you have no control over the GSP fees and that you are contacting eBay to clarify if there is anything you can do as the free postage is what you offered on the items to ship to eBays UK central post ready for shipping to their International destination ... Do the items purchased all fit into one parcel comfortably and protected well for transit, if they do not then you need to send them separately and ensure you have tracking ( either for one or more parcels)

Yep that makes sense. I'm combine the three in one listing. I do have one more question though. The guy says you couldn't combine postage. Is that because I haven't ticked the box or because there is no combined postage on gsp?

I have very little experience of GSP but i do know they all go to a centre in the UK who take care of the paperwork and send them on.Each order would need its own tracking number at least until it arrived at that center, You would need to talk to CS to really get the answers

The GSP doesn't offer combined shipping because each separate order requires its own separate customs paperwork. 

However, if the items are all in the same category I'd simply do as advised and set up a listing for all of them on the one listing, then it'll be one order with one postage price for the buyer.

Yep set up a combined listing and the purchase went through. All good.
