Don't think it will happen. Evri delivered the merger documents to the wrong address and left them on top of a wheelie bin, but did take a photo to show that they were safely delivered to a nominated safe place.

And as an evri courier i'll be the first to say we got told after the news broke lol. Standard.

Will the merged company be called DELIVHR?

More likely "mightbedeliveredbutprobablynot" 🙂

what happens when you put two second rate operations together and then throw a third rate one into the mix (that would be e bay these days!)???

I had DPD once go to the wrong street and at end is an estuary with open fields on either side. They sent a photo of an empty field saying I was not at home for delivery 😆
Maybe they thought I was a horse?

I have picture they sent ….but I can’t upload it for some reason 🤷♂️

Do they mean complementary?
"combining their "complimentary" services! 🤣

eBay must have know about this before introducing Simple Delivery with Evri as the only alternative to Royal Mail.
Given Evri's poor reputation, they must have expected a backlash, but they obviously couldn't divulge the forthcoming merger due to commercial sensitivities, and so had to just "ride it out". Hopefully the new organisation will be better equipped to deliver the quality of service sellers need.

Well spotted! Nice to see Auntie maintaining her usual editorial standards.

Won’t this mean more messing about with sizes, weights and courier settings on SD?

DHL are rubbish. Ithey said they lost a large parcel but what they didn’t say that the box had opened inside their van.
so I had no idea where the box was. Apparently they had took it back to their office. Not once they let me know they had it.
So would not trust them.

Every courier, including Royal Mail, will have had cases like that. Of course, you're entitled to your own opinion, but I've never had a problem with DHL, and I hope their influence might improve Evri's widely-perceived ropey performance (although some rave about Evri), maybe by introducing some better systems, and a different ethos.
We can but hope.

it will take more than them merging for me to use EVRI regardless.
14-05-2025 9:45 PM
cannot see that happening, they only have a minority share in the company and EVRI take no notice of anyone now so there will be no change there. Could make DHL worse though, sleep with dogs, get fleas!

Evri are teamed with Temu which keeps their hands full and so far only 1 parcel lost out of many (too many addicted moi?)
