Account switched from uk to usa

For some reason my account has switched from UK to USA although all my details are for UK including address etc is set for UK. I haven't changed it and I have gone through the account settings and is set for UK. I cant send anything out because it needs an address for USA as sending from. Its driving me nuts. I cannot sell anything as it wants dollars not pounds. It also won't allow me to set postage as wants USA postage settings not uk postage. I have tried contact us on ebay 3 times asking for call still waiting.

No help can someone please help. If you say check account settings all done and it's all showing uk until I go to list an item login dispatch it then switches to usa. Even if try to signout and back in it goes straight back to usa even if I click onto ebay.co.uk site

Are you sure that you're not logged into the US site ebay.com?

Log out and then clear your cache and then log into ebay.co.uk

Pop back and let us know if this works.

I've just checked for you, and your account is definitely a UK account. I would try what *vyolla* suggested above, to see if that helps. If it doesn't, please let us know, and I will be happy to take a further look.

I was in a sellers account for an item as a buyer, noticed they had a shop and clicked and all the pricing changed from £ to USD$ but they were UK and I was in the UK site. Maybe a random glich.

This sometimes happens when you view or buy an item from an American seller, then everything is shown in US $$'s.

As advised you need to log out completely, even shut your device down. Start up, and log into your homesite, https://www.ebay.co.uk and everything will be back in Sterling Pounds,   but it sometimes doesn't do this straight away so, just refresh your page a few times, that will kick start it into showing the correct currency.
