Hi,
does anyone have any experience with suspicious purchases and how do you deal with this? A buyer contacted me today about has not received the purchases made two weeks ago, but the account used to contact me is different from the one used for the purchase. I checked the account used for purchase and noted it's registered 2 days ago before the purchase.
Then I received another order for the same item but more quantity, the buyer was newly registered on the same day the purchase was made, and the postcode is around the area as above one who claimed not received the item.
These look quite suspicious, has anyone experienced similar things and how it's dealt with?

Do nothing unless they open the correct "Not received" case on ebay.

Thank you for this, I actually just called RM who has confirmed the item was delivered.
For the new order placed but the other suspicious account, do you know if it would cause any issues to my account if I cancel that? Thank you!

As long as the tracking number is on ebay you'll be covered against any fake claims. If you cancel it depends on what reason you use. "Something wrong with buyer's address" is probably the nearest one to this sort of situation and you won't be penalised.
And don't forget to put their ID on your blocked bidder list:

Thank you! I am a fairly new seller and found it's quite challenging dealing with some buyers and Royal Mail, will see how long I can last, lol....
