This not the first time this has happened. I ordered a label, checked the box was showing up to 100 g, and
downloaded the label. However, it showed a weight of 1g, so I cancelled the label, scrapped the envelope, and tried again. This time the actual label showed 1g again. So, I cancelled the label and scrapped the enveloped again. OK, I should have checked the label was correct. I did not try again. I used a stamp.
That was just a basic 2nd class stamp. It has happened before on larger letters too. Why can E Bay not show an automatic up to 100g on an ordinary letter, and up to 750g on a Track48 Royal Mail letter. Is this beyond the wit of those who have designed the system. Under what circumstances does a Track24 or 48 letter need to show less than 750g, and when can an ordinary letter actually weigh 1g or less ?
